From October 30 to November 11, 2026, the Department for Energy Efficiency is holding a republican information and educational campaign entitled “Belarus – an Energy‑Efficient Country.” It is timed to coincide with the International Day of Energy Saving, which will be celebrated on November 11.

The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness among Belarusian citizens about the importance of using energy resources efficiently, as well as about possible ways and methods of saving them, including in everyday life, which is an important measure to improve the energy efficiency of the country’s economy.

Taking into account that the efficient and reasonable consumption of energy resources largely depends on the mobilization of efforts by all government bodies, institutions, organizations, and business communities, as well as public associations and the media, the Department for Energy Efficiency calls on everyone to join the republican information and educational campaign “Belarus – an energy‑efficient country” and to take an active part in informing employees and the public about the importance of energy efficiency and ways to save energy.
